Captured IR Signal Does Not Work

I captured a "TV Input" IR code from a universal remote for a Sony Bravia LCD HDTV and it does not work. I captured the volume buttons and the power signals from the same remote and those work fine. On the remote the tv input works fine but when I capture it with the RedRat and output it, it doesn't work. I just don't understand why the captured IR signal for the tv input wouldn't work but the others ones do. Is there some possible solution to this? I don't have the...

Hi,

I am using RedRat SignalDBUtility to make our own remote softwares. Now I am in the need of having a remote such as one remote key should have IR signals of multiple no. of keys.

For Ex: Settings remote key should represent Menu->Down->Down->OK

Please help me in this if it is possible.

64-bit drivers for XP and Vista are now available from the RedRat website.

We are gradually converting all applications to run on 64-bit systems as well, check the change history to see if it has been done. If not, let RedRat support know and we'll convert as quickly as possible.

Redrat decoder mixes up signals

Hi, I am trying to create a DB for my Thompson digital TV receiver. It looks like learning the signals is no problem, but mapping the decoded signal against the database is not working properly here. Some keys are working ok, others not. I isolated one specific case here. I learned a signal for key "DVD on" and one for key "Menu". Here are the signals:

I use both Redrat3 and Redrat on some test systems i work on.

My system is using 3 redrats at the same time. I check to see if the system is connected to three redrats and then proceed to the next line of code. The code is give below.

Remote decode not working

Hi,

I have a problem with a new RC that seems to have a 55kHz carrier frequency.

Using the last signal DB Util and a RedRad with the last firmware:

-Learning signal goes well.

-Tuner understand signal played by RedRat.

-But, Decode Window does not detect any signal when played by remote (or by another RedRat) in front of RedRat.

I tried to change Signal Capture Parameter values, but I don't understand a lot what I change.

Get the current CVS version of LIRC as per the lirc.org website.
Configure to use the MCEUSB (original). Do a test compile.
Replace contents of the the lirc_mceusb.c file (lirc/drivers/lirc_mceusb/lirc_mceusb.c) with the code below.
Recompile.
You should have a working lirc for the redrat3 - note this was compiled against 2.6.24.
Install as per your linux distribution and lirc.org instructions.

Nevermind, I was getting a verbose error when trying to use the scheduler or RR_CLI but I found out that the error was due to not having installed the DB utility. Seems to be working fine now.

I am using RedRat com API in my ActiveXControl application.I have just called CoCreateInstance for CLSID_RedRatLookup and did nothing . this call is getting succeeded but after this my UI is getiing hanged.
