Captured IR Signal Does Not Work

Posts: 1 (06/23/09 07:05:22) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None I captured a "TV Input" IR code from a universal remote for a Sony Bravia LCD HDTV and it does not work. I captured the volume buttons and the power signals from the same remote and those work fine. On the remote the tv input works fine but when I capture it with the RedRat and output it, it doesn't work. I just don't understand why the captured IR signal for the tv input wouldn't work but the others ones do. Is there some possible solution to this? I don't have the original remote or a similiar remote for the tv, it is lost. Thanks in advance. I have the RedRat3.

My current settings are below from top to bottom. 16 512 8 112 150 18.05 Thanks

Posts: 249 (06/26/09 02:33:32) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi, These are good values for most IR signals, so if capture isn't working then the value to tweak depends on what is going wrong. If you are not getting any error message, it is just that the output doesn't control your TV, then you could adjust the "Length Delta" which may improve the resolution a bit; set it to 60 for example. If you have a RedRat3-II, then you could try using high speed capture mode which gives more accurate data. Cheers Chris
